About Me

Both the grand and the intimate aspects of nature can be revealed in the expressive photograph. Both can stir enduring affirmations and discoveries, and can surely help the spectator in his search for identification with the vast world of natural beauty and wonder surrounding him.
-Ansel Adams

I am a landscape, underwater, wildlife, and nature photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia. I have been interested in photography since my first years of high school. By the time I graduated, photography had transitioned from a hobby to a passion. Currently, I work as a mechanical engineer at Graphic Packaging International.

My passion is capturing the extraordinary beauty and wonder of nature. This can take many different forms: a majestic mountain range, a pristine forest, a vibrant flower, or a shark in the ocean. While scuba diving, I connect with many of my favorite subjects; the underwater world is different from anything above the surface, and I love being able to experience and capture the beauty of it.

Photography often coincides with my other interests; I enjoy scuba diving, sailing, mountain biking, and hiking. While pursuing photography, I have rafted down the Grand Canyon, been scuba diving in the waters of the Caribbean, and lived aboard the schooner, S/Y Ocean Star, for three months. I am always seeking new opportunities to expand my skills and do what I love.
